MARRAKECH
1 Hour Before Event Time
From Marrakech, access the High Atlas via the Tizi-N-Tichka pass at 2260 meters. After Telouet (Kasbah of Glaoui), follow the grand road through the Ounila Valley to reach the Ksar of Aït Ben Haddou, before arriving in Ouarzazate, the gateway to the desert, and then continue to Agdz via the Tizi-N-Tinififft pass, amidst an arid landscape. Overnight at the hotel.
From Agdez, explore the lush palm grove of the Drâa Valley. After Zagora, an ancient caravan town, stop at Tamegroute to visit the Quranic library. Continue past the old village of M’Hamid to reach the Chigaga dunes (300 meters above sea level) by a track, enjoying various stunning landscapes (erg, reg, hamada, oasis). Experience a camel ride at sunset, followed by a bivouac in the dunes.
A full day in the Chigaga desert, including a camel ride and a night at the desert camp.
After a morning walk in the dunes, cross the dry Iriki Lake via the track until reaching the palm grove of Foum Zguid. Continue towards the oasis of Tata with its pink adobe houses. Overnight at the hotel.
Discover the Anti-Atlas region via Igherm before arriving at the exceptional Tafraoute site (with its pink granite rocks). Visit the Aït Mansour Gorges.
Cross the Anti-Atlas via Adai (a picturesque village) and the Kerdous Pass, known for its terraced fields and argan trees. Then, head to Tiznit, famous for its jewelry souk, before continuing to Sidi Ifni, followed by the Mirleft beach. Overnight at the hotel.
After Aglou, continue along the coastal road towards the Souss Massa National Park, a beautiful bird reserve, before reaching Agadir, where a stunning panorama awaits from the Kasbah’s corniche road. Proceed towards the Paradise Valley via Tifrit and Imouzzer.
Return to the rugged coast via Amesnez, and continue by the Tafelney Cape towards Essaouira, passing through Sidi Kouaki (Bob Marley beach). Overnight at a riad in Essaouira.
